Moved to choose

It is not the persuasiveness and reason and logic of my words that bring about change within you, it is the Holy Spirit alone. And even more, it is the Holy Spirit that found me, and moved me to speak in the first place.

It is God that chooses. It is God that does. It is God that moves. And we are blessed to have been given the chance to do good works in the midst of His plans (Jeremiah 29:11). Not to earn anything, but to experience the blessings of walking with our God and to display proudly and with great rejoicing the work of the Holy Spirit within us that moves us to share the Good News.

Do not be careless in your walk with the Lord. Study it. Embrace it. Run with it. Share it. Dwell deeply in it.

And never, ever, ever let dust gather on it because you were too tired to get up early, to curious as to what happens next in your favorite show, too excited to go to church because your favorite team is playing, too "in love" with your significant other to take some time with God.

Do not take time with God if you have, MAKE TIME, so that you have it.

Because where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

And if Jesus Christ isn't the way to your treasure, God, then you are not a Christian. And you are not saved. And you are willingly walking away from God and straight to Hell.

Not because God is an unfair, selfish, arrogant God, but because God is a just God, and will not force you to follow him.

If you go to Hell, it is because that is where you want to be, where you chose to be.
