the Problem with making a bad world good

Pain and suffering and bad happen because of evil, which we define as sin. If God is going to eliminate sin from the world, where does he stop? How much sin does he eliminate? Sin is sin, without heirarchy, as all sin separates us from the love of God, no matter how big or how small. And we can sin with our very thoughts, with the desires of our very hearts. So if God is going to make this world good, then he will have to kill every single one of us.

It is by the grace and mercy of God that we, in the depths of our sin, are spared, are allowed to continue to live in a world that is broken by our sin. The state of the world we live in is our fault, not God's.

Romans 6:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

God is an unfair God...in that he does not give us what we deserve.
