broken

Look around you, and you will see it.  You don't have to look hard.  Even those of us who grew up in families that always loved.  You can still find it.  It's love...breaking.  It's right next to you.  It's everywhere.  We live our lives...content in our day to day mindset of................................normal.

While others around bleed deeply where shards of love cut them when it broke around them.  Melodramatic?  Maybe.  Is a father beating his son melodramatic?  Is a married couple getting a divorce and not explaining anything to their kids melodramatic?  Is a homeless man who doesn't even know who he is anymore melodramatic?  Are the bodies of street kids around the world melodramatic?  Was it melodramatic when they scooped those cold, lifeless little bodies and tossed them in a truck?

Was it melodramatic when the son realized that he couldn't remember the last time his father said, "I love you"?  And with each added day that son dies a little more inside?  Is that melodramatic?

Love is everywhere.  We were made by Love, in Love, for Love and to love.

So when we walk through a word full of broken love, you might consider stopping, asking, caring when you do, sharing...and loving.

Whole.  Complete.  Unbroken.  Love.

If you're broken, listen to the echoes down within the deep within you.  It's the echoes of Jesus, who has found you in your broken love, and is knocking at the door, to your heart, to your soul...to the whole of everything that is you.  As you are.

If He has already found you, and you let Him in, then go.

And bring the broken this unconditional, death-ending, healing, whole, complete...unbroken, Love.

If you are who you say you are, then you will do this, because of who you are.

If you don't, then you're a liar...a shadow passing silently into the dark.  Someone He never knew.

Be whole.  By the acceptance of the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus our Christ, our Lord, our Savior, our Intercessor, our Substitute, our Protector...

...our unbroken love.
