Justice is mercy and reconciliation and the affirmation of Godly Truth

Is justice truthful representation of one's self, others and of God and the things that belong to God?

Justice is often related to one's understanding of law, but what law comes to my mind?  National?  Biblical?

How does my understanding of justice relate to scripture?  How does justification define my understanding of justice?

God is not unjust, and yet he does not kill us outright for our sin.  So, it is for the sake of God's character that, in order that we might be saved and yet justice still be upheld, that Jesus died for us.

Justice.

Are we too concerned with our own inner sense of justice?  Are we too concerned with what's fair?

God's justice is both fair and unfair.

Doing justly, as a Christian is to look outside of your own concept of justice "fairness" and to look at God's concept of justice, which is based on righteousness and holiness and authority (by nature, not by appointment or by vote).

To act justly from God's justice is to constantly maintain your perspective as drawing from God's perspective as its source.  Only through close fellowship with God can you do this.  And prayer, the Bible, worship and fellowship are how God leads us as we try to do this.

To do justly in God's eyes is to live and love according to His Truth, wise to the nature of man, but also loving, acting unfairly in the world's eyes.
